Mulled Cider

A delicious alternative to mulled wine by AGA Food Editor, Dawn Roads.


1.2litre (2 pints) cider

85g (3oz) brown sugar

3 Allspice berries

3 whole cloves

1 cinnamon stick


Sliced orange

Cinnamon sticks


1. Place all the ingredients into the AGA stockpot and bring to the boil on the boiling plate. Place in the simmering oven for 15 minutes, then strain and serve hot.

2. Decorate with finely sliced citrus fruit if liked and a cinnamon stick or two.
