Dad’s Favourite Steak and Guinness Pie

Here's some great pub food without having to walk to the pub. If this is the preferred dish in your family, it might be worth investing in some individual sized dishes, which give the meal a fun sense of occasion. Do feel free to substitute the puff with short-crust pastry and we recommend serving with a nice heap of veg from the garden.

225g (8 oz) mushrooms, sliced or quartered

280g (10 oz) puff pastry

Beaten egg to glaze
